I HAVE SEEN POSTS ON SOME FORUMS ABOUT THIS RIFLE SPLITTING STOCKS.THE REASON I ASK IS I WANT TO BUY ONE.SOME SAY THAT YOU CANNOT GOT PARTS. UNFORTUNATLEY I LIVE IN CANADA.THIS GUN COSTS $600.00 PLUS 14% TAX PLUS $30.00 SHIPPING FOR A TOTAL OF$714.00. IS THERE ANY TRUTH TO THESE RUMORS? I WOULD HATE TO SPEND SO MUCH MONEY AND FIND OUT THAT I CAN'T GET IT FIXED BECAUSE I CAN'T GET PARTS. I SAW ONE OF THOSE GUNS AND IT WAS A REAL BEAUTY.DOES ANYONE KNOW FIRST HAND IF THERE IS ANY TRUTH TO THESE RUMORS? I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO KNOW. THANKS GEORGE IN CANADA.

$120-$150(US) is not bad for a good stock, buy some finish, say you don't have any left over from another project, go high-end at $25. There you go, $25 plus $5 for sand paper, $2.50 for steel wool, and then the stock. A grand total of say $200 for the stock shipped, plus enough finish oil to do hundreds of stocks. So I guess w/ the transfer to Canadian it would be aproaching $1000.

YOu may want to check the law in Canada, I believe they have a limit on air gun power. If I'm not mistaken the 1250 would be illegal there anyway.

decided that the Gamo 1250 was over priced, when I found I could purchase a new Diana 350 Mag..22cal. for $299.00 USD from midsouthshooterssupply.com and my shipping was FREE. It had some Quality Control Issues which I posted on the YF main page (Jan. 12th,at 12;17 am). But nothing I couldn't handle in my home work shop and supplies. It's a Helluva strong gun and in the top tier power wise as are the 1250 and Webley and Kodiak genre. So far it chronies at 862fps with Beeman FTS 15.0gn to yield 24.8 FPE. It Chronies AT 900+ with 12.6 Silver Bears. Today with less than 100 pellets thru it, I am shooting 1.25 in. c-t-c five shot groups at a measured 45 yds.

Sounds like i will be buying a 350 magnum. Same price as a 1250 in Canada. Thanks for all your info.
