... unless you're willing to dig up an adapter - I seem to remember the Z-cars are 4x4.5" or something else that isn't 4x98mm. And then I'd worry about offsets and stuff.

Nissan PCD (that's Pitch Circle Diameter) = 4 X 114.5 mm

Fiat PCD = 4 X 98 mm

Offsets and setbacks aren't even close either, so 'redrilling' is not an option.

There really is not enough information in the listing (for me) to say for sure -- What is the width and what is the offset?

That said, from personal experience I can say with absolute certainty that if the wheel is 6.5" or less in width and has an offset of 35 - 45mm, and you use 195/45 14 tires, then yes you probably can get it just inside the lip without touching the spring perch on the other side, and still maintain the same center-line as OEM alloy wheels with a 24mm - 25mm offset that are mounted using one OE spacer (My Iron Crosses are 25mm and my CD91A's are 24mm)

It will require a PCD adapter with a thickness of 15mm to 25mm+ depending on the offset. The place I got my second set of adapters from will not make them any less than 15mm thick. That limits the minimum the offset can be at about 35mm. For a wheel that has an offset of 35mm, you would use a 15mm thick adapter with no OE spacer.

For adapters, check with Skulte Performance Products. Figure about $350 - $400 for adapters that are both hub centric and wheel centric.

they look strikingly similar to Gotti two piece wheels that were made for the 308 Ferraris, but I doubt these wheels are actual two piece, they just look that way. Since the 240, 260, and 280 was contemporary with the 308 they are probably from about that period and were copied to look like the Gottis. Dave Meredith, an Xweber, has a set of the Gottis on his 308.

If you are gonna upsize, going to 15 inchers offers you much more in tire selection.

To match the rolling circumference of a 185/60/13 you can mount a 195/45/15 and that's pretty much it. Only one or two brands come in that size. Not cheap either.

At least on early cars, OEM was 145/80-13, and there are two 15" sizes that are within 1% (that is, manufacturing tolerances) of that diameter: 155/60-15 and 185/50-15.

It's worth noting that the very popular 185/60-13 is a bit too small, while 195/60-13 and 165/70-13 are also within 1%. That hasn't stopped me from running 185/60R13... just live with the optimistic speedometer.

145/70-14, 175/60-14, and 205/50-14 are all within 1%, but I have no idea what the availability is.

All of this is contingent on me not having fat-fingered the spreadsheet

I'm not concerned with meeting the factory specs or anything... in fact, I like the 300 or 400 rpms less at speed in 5th, and always felt 1st and 2nd were a bit too tall in the first place. I do feel and hear a bit of difference at speed, but almost undetectable in the other gears. I'm running 205/60x13s in the rear.

15s will be getting sparcer and sparcer... as 16s appear to becoming the "standard" on most cars today, with performance tires going to the stratosphere. I just figured that 14s would be basically gone first, like the 13s, before the 15s go.

I'm unsure how 16s would look on an X... as I thought 15s gave it a 'Hot Wheels' look... and I rather liked it.

Good chatting with ya...
