I would like to paint it with the engine out(to rebuild). I have to have it towed to the paint shop. Will this work? Thanks so much, Bob

you will want to put a pre-load on the rear wheel bearings so they don't fall apart. I've used old outer cv joints reinstalled with the center nut to keep load on the bearing races.

i did this for a few months while waiting for parts for my x, the thing about the later style cars is you have to unbolt the left rear control arm so you can clear the transaxle when you drop it out.. but it should be fine... i rolled it in and out of the honda garage for a month.. hehe

I've moved a '76 around quite a bit with no engine.
