I'm thinking about going with a freer-flowing exhaust system in my '86. It has a cat so I guess I have to keep that to be legal? (we don't have emissions testing where I live, but I think a cat is still required)
I'd like something that will open the flow up and give a nice sound. I'm also looking for as cheap a price as possible.
What is your personal preference in an exhaust?

Thanks!

The quad-tiped ANSA muffler on my 79X was the cat's meow.

The car and the muffler are long gone, but sweet memories remain.

I would buy another in a heartbeat, alas it's unobtainium...

My new muffler is only 3" long...

Pics to follow this weekend.
