Took a trip to the junk yard to find myself a brake reservoir, mines shot to hell. I grabbed one off of a e30 bmw, I was hoping would work but could not find the right adapters to fit the outlets to my stock hoses. So I just need to pick up a vw one.

But I also found this!

Its an almost perfect fit, been sanding the bottom to get it to fit better. I found it on a Toyota and thought to myself damn that just might work.

I used to frequent all the pickaparts and other yards up in Sunland as well as some of the others around the greater LA area. In the late eighties and early nineties there were still lots of FIats ending up there, I bet its a much rarer event of late.N Giant was still in the Fiat business.

The only Fiats one finds here in MI are so dilapidated and rusty its hard to save anything.

It was on an 80's corolla sr-5 coupe, the corolla ae85-92's are all the same I believe. Though this is an aftermarket wing that I don't think was made for the Corolla either, fit wise the corolla trunk is 1.5" or 2" wider then ours. Where the wing base covered the whole trunk on the corolla, on the X it hangs over the edges of the trunk about half an inch.

As for mounting I have not decided yet. Ill think ill use the holes already in the wing and JB weld new bolts in them. The original nuts and bolts were somewhat rusted and a few de-threaded from the wing when we were removing it.

But the wing I really want is the e30 M3 wing, I think it might fit >.<

The spoiler in your photos is from a liftback, as the coupe was not available with a spoiler.

The AE-86 was replaced by the FWD AE-92.

I took it off an sr-5 coupe myself so I know what car it was on. I know that it is not OEM and I don't believe it was originally intended for the corolla either.

It not a wing off of a hatchback nor would it even fit the hatch. The lines and mounting points don't match up at all.

On a side note if I had not found the X1/9 when I did, i would be driving either an GT-S Hatch or an AW11 MR2. I am glad that the X fell into my lap though, because its a great car!

Oh and here are some shots of the spoiler by itself. You can see where I have been sanding it to match the lines of the X, still not perfect but its getting there.

And yes the ground was very hot!
