Sorry guys, only took a few.

Two Lime green 74's. Proud father of one, Mark Plaia, looking at camera.

A nice orange/Black X parked on lower level.

Jake's Black X, gregory Smith's X and John Allen's Scorpion. Mike's 128 is partly visible in background.

Another look at the gang around Gregory's car.

Sorry that's all the pics I took. If you want pics of the house and my dead car collection, let me know and I'll post. Ciao.

Hello all...

Steve, thanks again for hosting a great gathering. Here's a few more pictures of cars at the meet including Steve's Lotus. I forgot my digital camera, so used my phone...quality isn't great, but good enough.

Steve's Lotus espirit. First time I ever sat in one. I wanted to drive it.

A picture of Mike M's fabulous sedan and Marks sweet 74.

Now the picture of two green 74s.

Great gathering.

that John Allen owns. Really nice car. According to John, Started and ran well after a long hibernation. The Lotus, how well does it run?...well....it looks good. Rule # 1 in Lotus land....Never buy a series 1 or 2 unless you're a serious masochist. Car has about 44K miles total and the engine has been rebuilt twice, head three times...are we having fun yet??!!!

I'll post a view of the morgue and house later today. Ciao.

It looked much like a series 2 but had many of the design and quality problems of the series 1 and 2 handled. Don't think many series 3 cars made it to USA, most were turbo by then. If you really like the earlier cars you can find quite a few for sale for around $5k. But be prepaired to spend much time and money if you want to actually keep it drivable. And, if it has the stock radiator, get a 2x to 3x normal size replacement, and make sure that three fans are installed, and that they are all in very good condition. This is a car that is NOT forgiving when overheated, and it will overheat in a flash in city trafic if you have the stock radiator. Also, never drive the car if you suspect one or more of the four universal joints are failing on the drive half shafts. The Series 1 and 2 and 2.2 cars had no upper control links so if any of the U joints fail...bad things happen.

Cheers.

it was washed and looked better than at Steve's (taken a year or so ago).

it also still had the dual DCNF throttle bodies on the EFI setup...
