I took advantage of a special deal through Ferrari Club of America and Mother's Car Wax which included parking on Turn 9 in the Exotic Car Paddock....so I took my "exotic" out What was funny was within the sea of Lambos and Ferraris, I could hear people saying "hey, an X1/9!" The "Bucking Jackass" got a few laughs too.

Here's one for the New England crew:

I think these were used in the celebrity race yesterday?

JJ is still walking around there somewhere....

Rudy,

That mi amigo is AWESOME! That is some huge respect there. Lofty company. Your car walks the walk and talks the talk!

I used to regularly go the the GP, but most years, I was traveling, and this year, just didn't feel like going. The split from Indy Racing has mad the series a shell of what It used to be.

I may be wrong here, but I decided today that I would tape it and watch.....I couldn't find it on TV today. Though, I didn't check till about 2 p.m. Did the race not have TV coverage?

I last saw it on TV in 1996, right before moving to LB from the East Coast. But I haven't looked for it since. I actually have zero interest in racing but it's a fun event to attend. If only for the beer, eye-candy and being steps to the beach.

ESPN2 2:30 local time. I couldn't go this year (hurt my foot so no walking) so I watched it on the tube. BTW the split ended with that race, the IRL takes over from now on. As for the race on tv it was horrible, one big ad for the IRL series, they just went through the motions. They didn't even cover the race the last ten minutes, instead they did an interview with Danica Patrick. As a long time champ car fan I was livid, I had to turn it off.

BTW thanks for the pics, your X1/9 fit right in with all those high dollar cars. Although its kind of funny seeing all those exotics and then their is an old Bradly GT kit car from the 70s in the mix. :D
