I'm to lazy to look up the thread but it seems someone was going to reproduce these for us wonderful XWeb folks.

Anyone recall that?

Thanks Aaron

Matt has them on his site. Are these the ones made from this one I had?

If they are, then I want one not painted and at a discount.

...some time back from a guy in Arizona I think... He was listing them on Ebay at the time... this was before Matt had them. I had the guy black anodize mine. Very nice work... I haven't installed it yet though...

... in unpainted or black aluminum (just the surround, you have to provide the levers and lock), and Matt has black aluminum units complete with key and levers.

The prices will make you wonder if they're actually white gold, not aluminum
I seem to recall Matt saying something about being at the mercy of the crossover market here; the same part fits Maserghinarris and is priced for that crowd.

I sold it on Ebay to someone here on XWeb that was going to reproduce them. I just sorta lost track after the house fire and stuff. I guess I will go back and look at some emails. I had thought of installing on my X but thought it would be nicer for everyone to get a shot at one on the cheap.

Hey Aaron,

Stop on by, I'll get you one with the "Columbus" discount... lol

Seriously, $65.00 is as competitive a price that you'll find, considering the work that goes into these, including the powder coat, and they are basically indestructable.

Uncracked used plastic housings sell as fast as we can find them for $50.00...

I always assumed the CNC'd housings were MUCH more than that! How about making some that will work on a Scorpion/MonteCarlo?? I think I could find you a group of people who would pay that for replacements of the 'unobtainable'. (and Scorpions use 2 such housings!)
