I am researching the history of the various constituents of the Midland Railway and came across the fact that No62 Main Street, Wymondley is or was known as Blea Moor Cottage.

Blea Moor is the name of a remote signal box and the longest tunnel on the Settle to Carlisle Railway which is an awful long way from South Lincs. I assume there must be a connection and I would be interested to learn the history of this name appearing in your village and if any locals know the story I would be grateful if they could post it on here

Thank you
