I must say that this issue will have plenty of stuff to read, and plenty of photos. Some historical. Some modern. Some zany. One serious.

2.12.08 to printer
2.19.08 to mailing house
2.26.08 to post office
3.??.08 to members' mailboxes

In this issue, I'm particularly pleased with the members' articles and variety of material. Also, there's the full agenda of activities for the September convention.

I submitted my membership fee (via money order) and form 1-1/2 to 2 months ago.
it appears the money order has been received and cashed.

I still haven't received any notices, newsletter, etc.

What's going on? I'm very concerned, especially when I pay for something and get nothing (not even a notice) in return.

It usually takes awhile for us all to get the NL. I've been a club member for about 7 years and haven't not recieved a newsletter yet. I think they send it like 8th Class so it usually gets to my mailbox about a month after it goes to the Post Office. You'll get used to the ebbs and flows if you stick around.

There used to be threads all the time where people posted when they got the NL, but this forum doesn't get 1/10th of the traffic it used to. Still, some of us diehards post when we get it.

Here is one such thread from last year:

Cheers.

But at least, now, I'm also hopeful.

As a newbie, I didn't realize that was normal.

I will remain steadfast, in anticipation.
