In updating the Delaware page I was curious of the new monument/pull off/new USGS marker that was supposed to be on the WEST side of the Ebright Road has been erected (the historic marker has been in a front yard on the EAST side). Does anybody have photos?

In any event I've added a discussion on the famed trailer park highpoint controversy (the Delaware Geological Society recognizes the trailer park but the USGS database does not even list a summit or high elevation at Ebright).

I can't speak to the benchmark or the new pull-off, but there is a huge new housing development of McMansions going in where the Brandywine horse track was. The old track was off of Del SR-92 (Naamans Rd.), and the property goes all the way back to the rear boundary of the trailer park. I hadn't been by the area in six months and was shocked to see how quickly the place was built up. It looks like the area has been extensively landscaped as well...more confusion about the Delaware highpoint is sure to follow!

I was there within the last three weeks, and there is nothing on the west side of the road regarding the highpoint. The old sign is still there on the other side of the road.
