So I finally assembled the bits to make an AT-70 Reaver pattern battle tank. Manufactured on the Forge World of Urdesh, the Reaver is a poor mans Leman Russ. Although equipped with a Battle Cannon and co-axial Heavy Stubber, the Reaver lacks the sponsons commonly [I Swear Too Much] on the more robust Russ. It also has no computerized targeting systems, and an inferior suspension. Oftentimes Reaver commanders are [I Swear Too Much] to halt their machines in order to get a good [I Swear Too Much] off, something that puts them at a significant disadvantage against the more mobile Russ.

So that is the background provided by Dan Abnett with some embellishment by myself; on to the model.

I built it such that I can change out the turret weapon for either an Exterminator Cannon or Punisher Cannon, as well as the Battle Cannon/Heavy Stubber.

I put some paint on it earlier today, using a masking technique I heard about utilizing toothpaste. Not sure how hot I am on the technique, you be the judge.

Go ahead and ignore the date stamp, as my camera is wonky. Apologizes also for the blurry pics. I am rather proud of it as it uses all GW parts and is fairly easy to put together.

Edit: I put some more work in today. Lemme know what you all think. All that is left is to finish off the stowage and add fine detailing (which I may not get around to).

Well, I am a bit stuck. The painting is fairly well [I Swear Too Much] but for the stowage, and therein lies the problem. The backpacks and cloth on my troops is painted to look like tanned human hide, but I am not sure if that would fit well here. So, the question I have is should I stick with the troops or go with a more traditional brown/green?

Mod Edit- Changed to links, as they exceeded the picture size limit-Terrobore

Thanks Captain! For my next trick I am going to try and get the Locust pattern Hellbat I have been working on [I Swear Too Much].
