Devil's Grave gives you a drop weight of 600 tons. You start with 40,000RPs and the map is loaded with plenty more to find, so you will definitely be able to bring in 16 pilots for this one. Plan your initial starting team accordingly. I brought in the following mechs/pilots:
Dire Wolf (Steel)
Dire Wolf (Rooster)
Dire Wolf (Volaris)
Blood Asp (Meat)
Storm Crow (Payback)
and 4 repair trucks with some of my regular pilots (Dagger, Hammer, Palerider and Worm).
Another straightforward mission. There are several objectives that need to be completed, but it's probably a good idea to gain access to repair bays and resource points early. I completed the objectives to the west of the lake first, and then did those to the east.
There are many heavy and assault mechs that you will face in this mission, and several ECM equipped medium mechs, that generally showed up only after I had engaged heavier mechs... so I was often being flanked by my enemies. There are numerous large battles and generally no shortage of things to blow up in this mission. If you're not careful, you could easily be overwhelmed. If you play it smart you should have little difficulty winning this one (if you've made it this far, I assume you're pretty much an expert mech commander).
Once you accomplish all objectives you will be just one battle away from victory!! The rebellion is nearly over!
Destroying Rebel Ammo Reserves - Going up against 3 Marauder IICs and 7 Dragons. During the battle I also caught the attention of a patroling Lucifer (heavy bomber). While kiting my foes I managed to foolishly move into range of 2 Summoners, a Hellbringer and a Marauder. A rooky mistake, but it made for a fun battle.
This isn't actually the toughest battle in the mission. That honor is reserved for the enemy dropship and its signficant defenders (objective 8 in the north east of the map). This was my favorite screenshot, however, and I'm trying to keep them to 1 per mission, so I included it. I like how the Marauder IIC on the hill is still in flames as the Dragon is taken out with a single head shot salvo. That's what you call taking your enemy out quickly!
