Furthermore: did you notice/try/use the option to repair mechs by dropships, even the Fortress? Did you notice that medical and technical health are now separated and you can heal pilots at medic buildings?
Dropships heal fully like flying hospitals. Much more realistic than only tech repairs and an innovation for the game.

As you did not mention any of these features, they may be irrelevant for gaming.
Anyhow; I sure like it. :winky

I agree, the moving of units was very cool in base 3 and fireking, however I was a little confused on how to use it besides powering down the dropship and powering back up, some guardians hopped out for a second but didn't do anything. I picked them back up after that and just left the dropships at base confused.

The dropship repair I only used on iceking, it helped massively on that mission. However in most cases you can find a repair bay instead, especially with how slow and far away dropships are most of the time. Is there a difference in dropship vs fortress repair?

Healing pilots was very confusing as well, sometimes pilots would be damaged but I can't heal them, and sometimes pilots would have critical health or something (red/orange bar) but not lowered at all, so I guess then I can't heal them? It's somewhat weird to me. I sometimes was able to heal pilots but sometimes wasn't.

However these are pretty minor and a lot of my pilots got to elite so I was able to use toughness, so maybe pilots survived more often than they should've.

There is no difference in healing between any of the Spheroid Dropships. They can heal fully like a flying hospital; same is true for a hospital. All other medical stations can only bandage you and improve health but not fully heal you. Would be totally unrealistic otherwise. This is clarified in the description text in the Encyclopedia as well. Pilots die rapidly if you do not see a medic; if you look after them they can make it through the campaign. What is wrong with this? Absolutely realistic. A mech without repairs would be gone as well.
I think my revised concept for MC2 is somehow not for you.:hangman

Ah nevermind, I see it now. I just didn't understand why sometimes I could heal a pilot and I couldn't heal a pilot from X Medical facilities. Hospitals =/= barracks/X Medicals. I feel like it didn't affect gameplay too much though not knowing the whole system but maybe it was because I was quite lucky/or pilots have toughness, surviving headshots/damage to pilot that would've killed them. :P
