Just sharing with everyone since i found this information is interesting.

Anyway, am not sure have anyone of you ever hear from others where different year/batch of Saga/Iswara/Wira's gearbox is have different gear ratio (Assuming am comparing all carby 1.5 F5M21 gearbox)

The answer is : YES ! Different batch of SAME MODEL gearbox possible to have different ratio according to the gearbox last 4 alphabet

Example like this :-

Gearbox claimed to be taken out from Saga 1.5 1990-1992

Gearbox from Iswara Aeroback 4G13 year 2003-2005

Upon finding, i found that both two F5M21 gearbox FIRST GEAR and FIFTH GEAR is different with each others.

I will try to upload more concrete info later as i am compiling these information now.

Btw, if any of you have answer question about Proton/MMC gearbox information/ratio do not hesitate to post here and i will try my best to give the answer :) REMEMBER pls give me the FULL gearbox code if you wanna do COMPARISON :)

Not to forget tell me the year of the car/gearbox wor aside the code.

Adios ....

Wira 1.5 year 02(EFI)/Manual 5 speed = 5th gear at speed 110km/h @3000RPM

not to forget, both are running on stock 13 inch with 175/70/13 tyres..

Just check another unit of 1996 Iswara 1.3 Sedan manual and 2002 Iswara Aeroback 1.3

Both car Gearbox code is F5M211-VRAC.

As for information now, Saga and Iswara is NOT using SAME GEAR RATIO gearbox

we might as well check all Proton models with 4G13 and 4G15 engine and compile a list of gearbox model and it's gear ratio.

Saga, Iswara, Wira, Satria, Arena.

Mine, year 2004 4G15 SVDO, F5M211-VRJE.

I was previously calculating the RPM-speed relationship using a "D ratio" as in your table. The speed reading wasn't in-sync with the RPM.

Now, I have just recalculated back my gear ratio and RPM-speed relationship. Calculated speed at 3000 rpm in 5th gear is 99.7km/h, speedo reading is 100km/h!

It means, 0-100 time now is indeed 11.6 sec base on speedo reading..

2. Year 2002 Iswara 1.3 Aeroback Carby - F5M211-VRAC
3. Year 2004 Wira 1.5 Sedan EFi SVDO - F5M211-VRJE
