I can appreciate your attempt to find God by your own means but God has ALREADY provided the means for which we can understand God and IT IS the Holy Bible. The way to begin understanding the Bible is by faith, believing that the answers dealing with the important matters in life are found in God's Word, NOT God's Word PLUS the REAL BIBLE CODE.

Jesus Christ being FOREVER the Godman demonstrated and even told man that ..

Matt 4:4
4 But He answered and said, "It is written, 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.'"
(NAS)

It was written in Deut 8:3. What you haven't shown is where Christ says there is a Bible Code you have to know in order to know what He's saying. There is NO Bible Code Yvonne. There is the Holy Spirit, and it is He that leads God's children into ALL TRUTH.

John 15:26
26 "When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, {that is} , who proceeds from the Father, He will bear witness of Me, (NAS)

The church is the BODY of BELIEVERS who have the Spirit of Truth and the Spirit of Truth tells me and should tell ALL of God's TRUE children from Acts 17:10,11 that we can LISTEN to what someone is saying about the Bible ***BUT*** it would be very UNWISE to just accept blindly what someone is saying the Bible says WITHOUT INVESTIGATING it first.

Acts 17:10-11
10 And the brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea; and when they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews.
11 Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily, {to see} whether these things were so. (NAS)

I'm sorry Yvonne, I know we've been through this before, but NOTHING has changed. I can't accept what you say about a Bible Code for there is none. There are a lot of truths in what you say BUT there are ALSO just as many things that are just simply not true. The Bride of Christ is a body, the body has members. The body has unity, members of Christ's body do not stand alone.

Nobody hears me Nucc: not even Christians unless they have truly become the MOTHER OF JESUS CHRIST:

The Bible is a sealed book and yes, we LIVE BY EVERY WORD, hence it is a code that is a mystery to the world which is ruled by the "Spirit of antichrist":

JESUS OPENS that BOOK, that CODE to us when he comes WITHIN OUR SOUL at the HOUR when we are judged:

I will find many scripture for you that reveals this FACT if you can't see it in what I say all the time:

I proved the code for a decade by revealing what the BIBLE SAYS and translating it according to the HOLY Spirit's interpretation:

don't just tell me that there isn't a code: PROVE WHAT I SAY IS WRONG about the WORD with what the WORD says in your understanding: that is how we should discuss the Bible;

saying "YOU ARE WRONG" and not showing me why isn't proving me wrong:

and saying that my posts are too long for you to read but you don't believe me isn't helpful either:

if you don't want to discuss what I say thats OK: but to just be like everyone else here and claim things about me as false without showing me where and how and why you think they are false, is being just like all hecklers: Not helpful to discussion:
every day is a new day to die to the old and live to the newness of life

The Historical-Grammatical Method of Bible Interpretation

The Historical-Grammatical Method of Bible Interpretation is the method used by the far majority of True Christian Theologians, Bible Scholars, and present day TRUE Christian Philosophers.

It is the method from which we get our CREEDS and ESSENTIAL DOCTRINES from. WITHOUT IT, there would be no ESSENTIAL DOCTRINES, such as the Deity of Christ, and the Trinity, etc. Another word more commonly used is the LITERAL METHOD and is itself an ESSENTIAL INTERPRETATION DOCTRINE.

WHAT THE LITERAL INTERPRETATION METHOD IS

The word LITERAL in Hermeneutics (the science of interpretation) means to interpret the Scripture in the LITERAL SENSE of the text you're reading as opposed to the NON-LITERAL or ALLEGORY SENSE.

It refers to the understanding of a text that ANY person of normal intelligence would understand without the help of any SPECIAL KEYS or BIBLE CODES.

NORMAL

Another way to describe the LITERAL meaning of Scripture is that it EMBRACES the normal, everyday, understanding of the terms in the Bible.Words are given the meaning they NORMALLY HAVE in common communication. This speaks of the BASIC, NORMAL, or PLAIN WAY of interpreting a Bible passage.

the WORD must interpret itself (with the aid of God's spirit, I may add). The rest are just man made rules and God and his word are not subject to man made rules. JB

I thought you were on a permanant sabbatical yes, that is true: the WORD interprets itself because all who wrote it were LED by the SAME HOLY SPIRIT:

that is why there is no PRIVATE interpretation but all interpretation is from the Holy Spirit: Since it is Spiritually discerned, and HOLY, what men think about it is irrelevant really:

we accrue leave called long service leave. It is in addition to annual leave (4 weeks) and provides 13 weeks of leave after 7 years of service. I have accrued too much and so I off on full pay from Dec 2009 to June 2010. I could at I am just bored (hehe) but I am busy all day. JB

I'm glad you have things to keep you busy and I do as well. I write in the morning before my family (spouse and two Boston Terriers) get up to lead the way:) The WORD is so simple to me that I write from my heart but I try to show why I say what I do through the "written letter" so that others can actually converse with me. So far it doesn't matter if I use what is written or not for the most part since it is ignored in favor of opinions about me How am I supposed to keep my ego in check when others would rather discuss me than the letter I use to invoke discussion lol
