For a moment there, I thought you said you were BEYOND truthful!

Got me thinkin ...

How would that work? I guess it would mean that one has an ability to CREATE the truth as one goes?

Couldn't let it go. People make up stuff all the time and actually believe it.

You and I just accept them as "whackos"

A conspiracy is when two or more persons conspire to commit an (unlawful) act (at the expense of others) meant to gain one thing or the other.

A theory without evidence remains a theory.

However, once a piece of evidence, no matter how flimsy, in support of a theory is provided, the theory becomes a possibility.

The more evidence in support of a theory is gathered, the more probable the theory becomes - up to a point where it would be silly, even criminal, to dismiss, even withhold, the evidence that is gathered.

- theory

. a proposed explanation of which its status is still conjectural (in contrast to well-established propositions that are regarded as reporting matters of actual fact)

. a coherent group of general propositions used as principles of explanation for a class of phenomena

An actual theory then, is not "Hey, I've got some random thoughts about this and that!", rather, it is completely the opposite. A theory is a compilation of all the data (in reference to a subject), and when you have converging lines of (scientific) thought they merge to become a theory.

There are people who seem to think "theory" means random stabs in the dark while it actually means: an explanation of certain phenomena supported by a body of facts and often unifying similarly supported hypotheses such as atomic theory, gravitational theory, germ theory, cell theory, evolutionary theory, some-people-are-dumb-as-dirt theory and so on.

So, when you care to pose something as true/fact(ual), keep in mind then what it implies or infers must be true/fact(ual) as well. If it's not, then there is something amiss with what is posed as true/fact(ual).

Remember, explicit entials implicit, by definition.
