I spent weeks at a time living/staying in his house.
Both of his sons have died.
I went to see Milbert yesterday at Cannon Falls MN Old foulks home.
He is 91 years old today.
This video was about 10 years ago.
My Uncle Milbert was in combat 4 years in WWII.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mennonite
Mennonites have become known as one of the historic peace churches because of their commitment to nonviolence.

My Uncle Milbert has no such beliefs of nonviolence.
But he is Christian, Protestant. I used to go to church with there family when I stayed on there farm at a child.

Milbert had milking cows, and I guess about 80 acres of farm land.
He was known for being a tough guy, and not to be messed with, yet very kind and loving also, and level minded.

I just went to see him Tuesday, but he is very hard to visit with because he is very hard of hearing at 91 years old, and I'm sure the war and his farm machinery took there toll on his hearing.

My Aunt Dorothy his wife is still alive also, but she lives at home, and Milbert live in a nursing home, but the VA pays for the nursing home costs.
Dorothy lives in Wanamingo MN, nere Milberts nursing home.
If you notice Milberts hat in the video, it says Wanamingo on it.
