..... however, when creationists are confronted with the incontestables, they either go silent; (more) illogical; in denial or turn silly; childish; digressive; unreasonable; dishonest; personal; abusive; absurd even, anything really, and in any combination thereof, just to avoid addressing what is pointed out and cannot seem to help themselves but display it, in effect granting the courtesy of instant clarification.

Creationists are so easy.

Republicans have spent even more money lobbying for guns, against gay marriage, for big-oil companies, etc...
Democrats have spent even more money lobbying for "green technology", keeping criminals pampered, keeping the bondage-system of welfare intact, etc.
Health-care companies have spent more convincing everyone they they're entitled to health-care and that everyone else should paid for their bad decisions & random misfortune.
Food lobbyist have spent even more money to convince everyone to eat unhealthy food.
Sports advocates have spent even more promoting misogynistic, narcissistic, drag-addicted, wife-beating, gambling, cheaters as heroes and role-models.
Israeli lobbyists have spent even more promoting imperialistic fascism, and violent suppression of people based on race, religion, and ethnicity - ironic, eh?
Anti-theist lobbyists have spent even more promoting their own political agenda(s).

So... If you want to "pick an easy fight", then sure... The logic behind the beliefs of the religious (actually the logic behind the beliefs of anyone, but we're going with your premise for a moment), are just about the easiest targets to find.

If you want to make a positive difference in the world, wouldn't it make more sense to go after one to the groups listed, or one similar to them, rather than continually bullying the relatively benign folks?

The overall tenure of my posts is, well, to perceptive beholders anyway, that they comment on human folly, no matter how respective humans choose to label themselves and their actions.

without Revelation of Jesus Christ, Christians will become less and less of a voice for God in the world.

the time has come for Christians to RISE to the level of their faith or expect more ridicule for it:

why? because people who only "believe" do NOT have a sufficient enough voice for Christ any longer. IT is watered down which is why the Lord is allowing Muslims to come in and take their rightful place in the scheeme of reality:

Jews were overtaken by Christians and now Christians are overtaken by Muslims till every person realizes that God wants them to GRASP the spiritual meaning of their religion:

this is the higher understanding of life instead of the traditions and rituals that Christians participate in without UNDERSTANDING WHAT THEY MEAN PERSONALLY....in their spirit and soul.

This guy Harold actually helped the cause of ending Christianity as it is but those who were SINCERE in trusting that the Lord will come, they probably were given a rapture on a spiritual level and only time will tell as they show up in the world with their experiences.

it will be the spiritually raptured that can be said to be in the "FIRST RESURRECTION"

on these the second death has no power

one has to rise to LIFE..........(alive in Christ)

before they can "die with Christ" to RISE......in the rapture, since the 'dead in CHRIST" rise first

then they which are alive will also be caught up together with these in the air

but its not a physical catching up or the Apostle Paul would not have been here to write about

or to write to those in the early church who also experienced this RAPTURE

the time is here where the heavens are opened to experience it again

but the heart has to be made ready for this......

and those who experience the rapture like I did 18 years ago, will be the ones speaking of the BIBLE with a new tongue.............and it is only given to those who are no longer of the old heart and mind:

we sing a new song, but who hears?

only those who also know that song

I find it sad when Christians are so misled but they will turn around and believe another one who promises them something in the physical world

rather than understanding GOD IS SPIRIT and he is seeking those who worship in spirit and truth

every day is a new day to die to the old and live to the newness of life

Both explicitly stated, and implicitly supported by the commentary that I've provided. But you seem to have missed it. Such is the nature of things, it seems.

My point was made and my question(s) asked. Your answers are clear and consistent with your behavior and attitudes on these matters. No need or point on pressing any further.

Carry on...

If so, job well done.

If not, bummer.

Oh, and thanks for sharing your second set of thoughts on this.

After all, thoughts are reflections of the mind and displaying them inevitably exposes the mind-set.

I'd like to hear about your thoughts on the latter of course, but obviously you won't share them since you feel no need or point on pressing any further and you wouldn't want to contradict yourself, would you now...............

Bummer.

That sounds about true ..... unsubstantiated claims by the dozens do not help much - not in respect to apparent directive(s) that is.

but they should be able to substantiate their beliefs to themselves.......to know why they believe the way they do:

if they don't have the experience that backs up their beliefs, they will stumble at every wind of doctrine that comes down the pike and plenty have come down it.....

i don't

thats why I don't make you prove it to me

it wouldn't help me to see proof of your view or reality because I still have to live in mine:

the only reason people communicate is to show their understanding of life....

if others hear it, then there are two witnesses of one experience......like in the natural world...a woman has a baby and shares the experience

those who are without child don't hear what she says from an experiential point of view.......all they can do is IMAGE what she is talking about

now, another woman who also had a baby will understand her just fine and the two become one in experience...

they don't have to explain it to each other however because they both KNOW what it feels like

same with the experience of God

I can explain it but those who haven't had the same experience, will not hear me the same way as those who have had this experience

whatever mental games you play with yourself are your experience of them

Im sure one day you will find someone who wants to play
every day is a new day to die to the old and live to the newness of life
