After having Season Tickets for the SJ Sharks from their inception in 1991, I moved to the Seattle area in Oct 1996. I went to my first Thunderbirds game shortly thereafter and watched this 17 YO light it up. His name was Patrick Marleau. I was quite pleased when he then went on to play for my hometown SJ Sharks. I bought tickets for the remainder of that season & became a T-Birds STH the following year. When the Silvertips came to town (much closer to my home) in 2003, I made the jump and have been a Silvertips STH since day 1.

When I was a kid we didn't have WHL hockey in Calgary. My Dad grew up with the Lethbridge Bronco's when they were in town and took me to my first WHL game in Lethbridge to see the Hurricanes and Wheat Kings in what would have been the early 90's, I want to say 1990-91 season but I can't remember exactly. We started hitting the Mac's Midget in 1989 together and we still spend tons of time at the Mac's together and at the Hitmen games. My Wife can't figure out how we can sit at the Max Bell arena for 14 hours, for 6 straight days.
