That was the second highest successful ODI run chase. The highest was also famously achieved by South Africa v Australia!

Was great to watch. Be great to see him playing at Headingley again, along with Starc, I mean who wouldn't want to watch a line up of

Finch
Root
Maxwell
Bairstow
Miller
Ballance
Bresnan
Rashid
Willey
Starc
Plunkett

in some form of competition!!

Im not sure that Miller will ever play for us again....i was told by a senior person within YCCC that whilst ever he was in post Miller would return over his dead body !!

Someone on this forum has mentioned Glenn Maxwell's general behaviour not going down too well with Martyn Moxon but he refused to elaborate on the matter. Miller was fantastic for us, who is this senior person?

I am sure you will understand that i dont want to say who the senior figure was, as he is still at the club in the same capacity. I was told in a face to face conversation. Agree he did well for us, ahd perhaps time might prove to be a good healer.
Until we get a new head coach i fear it will be difficult to recruit anyone

I'm surprised to hear that about Miller. I don't recall any disciplinary issues while he was here - he seemed to be very popular with the other players. Maxwell on the other hand was dropped for disciplinary reasons.

I for one wouldn't mind if Pujara returned but I think it highly unlikely.
I'd also be happy if young Jake came back.
However, any overseas signing is a risk since they can be whisked off at a moment's notice.

Martyn Moxon has said we're looking to sign a domestic player to compensate having no potential overseas, wishful thinking in reality.
