Hadn't thought about this, but the nature of cricket pictures has changed, hasn't it, giving less context and more concentration on the celebration or aggressive gesture. A great pity. Good job we have our own top photographers on the forum.
I'll stick to birds and other wildlife, though.

I've just taken 'An eye for cricket' by John Arlott and Patrick Eagar from my bookshelf. Published in 1979, its wonderful. I'd recommend it to anyone. Essentially a coffee table book of Eagar photos with words by Arlott.
