I was wondering the same Steve. Talking of the University match, if I were to fetch my dad who isn't a member, does anyone know what the admission fee is?

Imagine it'll be free entry though I can't confirm that. Was last year if memory serves.
Unless a couple of injuries clear up sharpish, YCCC bowling attack vs Leeds bradford MCCU could encompass likes of Patterson, Waite, Wainman and Coad. Chance to stake a claim..
Looking forward to it...

Leave out Patto, rest him for the following week. Duck the flying bricks from the NLOP club!! We can not afford to have him injured as well as Fisher, Brooks, Siddy, Plunkett & Willey.

Some of them may recover and play v Hants, but Brooks (4 to 6 weeks) & Fisher (2 more weeks)definately not.

Is it just me or does Fisher seem to have been two weeks away from fitness for the last 12 months?

Yes Tom, that does seem the case, but this time it is Fishers own words from the Yorks/Lancs match report on the OS.

Hopefully Plunkett of the injured players will make it for the Hants game which would mean a team of

Lees, Lyth, Leaning, Hanscomb, Ballance, Bresnan, Hodd, Plunkett, Rafiq, Patterson, Coad or Shaw.

Sorry Stu

That wasn't a score. I thought I was scrolling forward to page 2.

Seems like we have a new feature.

I can see the attraction of leaving out Patterson for the university match but it seems to me a bowler is as likely to get injured in training as in a game.

I'd play Shaw, Coad, Bresnan, Pattterson and Plunkett, if fit and spread the workload. It's very early and only a three day game so I think we can manage without Rafiq.

From this distance out the forecast looks encouraging, things may change.
