Cloudy morning in Manchester (not surprisingly perhaps..).
If i was the captain i'd certainly want to bowl today - and i could imagine Ryan Sidebottom with four wickets by lunch...

Looking upwards it doesn't look like a batting day, obviously Ballance saw something different on inspection of the pitch. Looking at the forecast tomorrow may be even worse overhead conditions.
