doubt it would have hit a second set of stumps....look at the angle it was bowled at.
One thing that you can look at when watching cricket on TV is the umpires ,
When they look at there performance this morning how can they go back out and have confidence in there decisions ,but the players who were given out cannot say a word .
Pretty sure the Root one was out, the 'bounce' you see is an optical illusion - Wessels had his fingers under the ball. Still unlucky with the two lbws.
Well i just rather enjoy the irony of it all.
Sky turn up hoping to see Root bat and Broad bowl - instead of which they get brilliant performances from County stalwarts like Alex Lees and Jake Ball - that truly is the magic of County Cricket..
Really enjoyed the morning session but a little frustrating to hear about the dodgy LBW decisions.
To the naked eye from the upper tier of the Radcliffe Road stand I thought the ball didnt quite carry for the Root dismissal.
Game finely posed so sad the weather has spoiled it.
After stopping & looking brighter it is raining cats and dogs now. Early tea being taken but wouldnt put any money on any more play today.
