Hope you have a great day guys.

There is some publicity and belated interest in the media so I hope it doesn't end with a damp squib.

I also hope the beer festival at lords has enough left to cater for celebrating Yorkshire folk later in the day although I don't think there was a Yorkshire brewery in sight. I believe Strauss and Graves told them not to turn up as they needed a rest.

Nervous day with cricinfo and the wrf.

The county championship is headline news on Radio 5 this morning.
Never expected that to happen again.

I'm so jealous of anyone going today. I'll be checking all day and keeping the children in my (Lancashire) classroom updated. They won't care but I'll care enough for all of us. Come on Yorkshire, 1 more big day.

exceptionally proud of the teams efforts in this game

shame I cannot be there

I think it is unlikely we will win in view of the flat pitch and impossible run chase we will be offered but our team will as ever give it everything

Main item on radio 4 'Today' sports slot at 7.25.

Extremely jealous of those watching live though I do have to consolation of Sky sports. Think I might sneak out and watch in a pub anyway and create my own Lords beer festival featuring mainly Timothy Taylor.

Think the ECB/Sky should bus up the Somerset team anyway just in case. What a damp squib it would be if the winners of the trophy weren't there.

It's gonna come down to a T20 style chase with only half our T20 team.
