I'll tell you what it's a bloody good job we don't have a batting problem..
I don't think many people think that our batting is fine, regardless of what certain posters may insinuate. Whether Gale can turn things around is another question, and one that's very hard to answer from the outside. I would be interested to hear from someone who has backstage access and insight.
Another dismal start by our top three "batsmen" - like men against boys Ballance not good choice for Ashes.
It's quite conceivable that none of our batsmen will get into double figures at this rate. Ballance gone for five. In Leaning and Hodd we trust.
Good effort from Fisher with the ball but looks like he will be lucky to get a hour rest before having to bat.
This is all a bit after the Lord Mayors show, so not surprised that we are crashing and burning, but once again highlights (in view of our batting frailties) the folly of such a weak batting line up.
Just one word, embarrassing
Fantastic stuff from our top order. I'm glad we don't have any issues with the batting Dwight.
They should have stayed in the changing room and waved the white flag from the window. Without sounding overly critical (God forbid), I must say our batting is slightly suspect, this is just not cricket.
What a shambles. How can people on here think the batting isn't a problem is beyond me. Agree with Dwight, Frank and Jays views.
