Indeed, if Hales is available I suspect Roy will keep his place and Bairstow will take the middle order slot that Billings will vacate. I think today showed the value of England having the sixth bowling option anyway.

I thought the DLS was quite favourable to England, but Buttler and Moeen did brilliantly to exploit that.
