Thanks for running this again.
Time to start the yearly cycle of excitement-a slow start-crushing disappointment-underperformance-a brief upturn in form-hope-overexcited and unrealistic goals-a slump-more disappointment-mid table mediocrity.
Good job as a Leeds United fan I'm used to this.

Hodd looks a steal for only 2 points considering in the absence of Jonny he'll probably be playing a lot of first class cricket. Had to go for Brooks too.

Spent all of 10 minutes picking my team yesterday evening.

After a good nights sleep and in the cold light of day I'm already thinking about transferring 2 of them out. Not the Yorkies of course.

Bloody hell, only 11 days to go! Hasn't felt like it last couple of days...

Considering my woeful performance last year I'm unsure as to whether I'll join this year- annoying that it isn't free- but good luck to those that do. I may well be persuaded and join the ranks.

David Hobbs going through the various counties prospects for 2016 on ESPN

He hasn't got to Yorkshire yet. Might be useful looking for players coming through who you may not have considered.

Interesting bit from the Glamorgan one

2016 prospects

Chief executive Hugh Morris has reduced debts from £16m to less than £5m since returning to Glamorgan,

Perhaps he could give our Chief Exec some advice.

But wasn't that simply because the Welsh assembly just wrote off their debt with Glamorgan? I bet the locals were delighted.

We should go for devolution for Yorkshire then and make Headingley a national asset. To be paid for by the good people of West Yorkshire of course.
