Question for those in the know. So, sitting here 3,000 miles away, here's what I see in one of bishpt's great pics:
Wall 1 is the southern east-west running wall that died into the robber trench.
Does it connect with north-south Wall 2? (Meaning, are they part of the same building?) And is it / are they connected to the very long east-west Wall 3 that was found early in the year?
Lastly, the arrow points to what looks like flagstone flooring going up & over Wall 1. If Wall 1 is 4th C, does this mean the flag floor is part of an even later building, maybe post-Roman?
I -so- wish I was there this year. This jumble of walls & floors & roads & drains is incredible!
