I just bought this Rolex 1016 Explorer from the original owners reletives. The band has been replaced with a newer 78360 one but all else seems ok. It has the original pyramid box and papers. Can anyone give me an idea of the value?

sold a peachy gilt tropcial with papers for £4.5kgbp not long ago and it wasn't an easy fly of the shelf sale.

...a signed letter detailing exploits, some photos and perhaps a service medal or two.
If that kind of stuff works to "beef up" a non-issued DRSD or Sub, it should do the same for a "lowly" 1016.
Best,
T.
