Err...Orchi hopes to share the latest but unconfirmed finding about...
the Arabic Scripts engraved at the rear of Caseback of this Ref. 1680 Submariner...

The above translation was just provided by a long time Business Buddy...
in Turkey...

Orchi thinks...that the nation of Turkey is also a member of the NATO Forces...
Orchi thinks...this watch might have been intended for use of the Turkish NATO Armed Forces...

Turkey is the only Islamic Country member...
amongst 26 members of the NATO North Alliance..

The Official Language is Turkish...which shares certain similarity with Arabic...

Any feedback or comments discussing about this watch is most welcome...

The above is a continuation from Orchi's previous thread post in here...

Err..."NATO Armed Forces"...in England.

The above was read n pronounced easily...
after taking a look at the back of the ME 1680 watch...
by a Turkish Business Buddy...
who happens to be here visiting Orchi...
just this afternoon...

"PS: if I was nasty I would say about a watch I've recently seen on OP that the caseback translation is not correct, the last word is incomplete and if you could read arabic you would know that the words seem to have been written either by an illiterate either by a 5 years old kid but you know me I prefer leaving people with their illusions"

NOT sure how the last Arabic Script is read or pronounced...
but Orchi is thinking...the Turkish Business buddy...
should know how to read the 1680 Caseback...maybe better...
than you...?

Best regards,
Orchi.

Err..."nice things" about Orchi's watches...??

But anyway...
Since you mention it(in your deleted post - Response to: "I hope one day")
here's hoping you cd possibly explain why "patented" is stamped...
instead...with "PATETED"...
on Rolex's band...originally By the Lake...
SWISS factory...??

Geez you didn't know about this one...?

Seems to Orchi that since you should know all about Rolex much better...
than everybody else...
what do you think about this watch...?

Err...would you agree?

Buddy Roger...would you agree also Rolex is known to have misspelled...
on band...n even had missing inside caseback "Patented" in England...?

http://www.network54.com/Forum/207593/thread/1269585060

IF so...since the doubt was raised regarding...
a misspelled Arabic word engraving...
do you think it might be possible for Rolex to misspell...
the Arabic Scripts on O's 1680 Caseback also...?
(if the world was indeed a misspell to begin with)

It is often said in VRF even by the experts...
Rolex was capable or prone of making these mistakes themselves...
or not...?

That was Orchi's intention to bring about the issue of "Pateted"...
Sorry for any confusions...

Best regards
Orchi.
