Need your comments on a strange 7020 TOG bezel that has been around forever but no one really would comment on it's originality. Now that collector interest is expanding into these watches it has become more important to get a definitive response on whether this is genuine or an ancient fuguzi of some sort.

This is the most common bezel...

This is the bezel in question...

there is a similar example coming up for auction at Watches of Knightbridge auctioneers in London in their March sale.

Lot 280 (est. GBP £1,500-2,000)

Interesting. I searched Tudor 7020 on google and 15 show up on the image page. Yet another mystery to solve.

MKI Skinny font

MKII Fat font. This is the only one of these I've found but I'm not looking that hard.

What is up with these bezels?

And never seen any documents pertaining to this design in all the old catalogues and books I have seen the last 15 years.

That said, anything is possible. Personally, I'm not a buyer.

...is the 60s TOG the only one? There were Date Day issues in the 80s and in the last few years but I don't recall another TOG. Is that true?
