Dear all

Dropped into Rolex yesterday to upgrade the bracelet on my Blue Monte Carlo to a 78360 with 589 flush fits, which seems to be the best fit combination for this thick case model.

PROBLEM

Rolex could not get the 589's to click into place, despite the best efforts of two of their watchmakers.

My questions are, Is this normal? Do you have to modifiy the flushfits in anyway to get them to fit correctly? Did the watchmakers not try hard enough

Any comments??

Cheers

But you need to use pliers to make it work. If you hold the watch so you can 'look thru' the side hole and move the endpiece in - you can see where it needs to be altered.

or use 380b's and live with the bad fit ;
