Hi, to all have tudor 7016 with superdome plexi belonged to us navy service man been in my collection for 8 years ,not been worn in my safe ,just taken to my local watch maker to have movement service ,watch has never been polished,plexi is very marked, he recommend light polish,do you think this is ok to do thanks mark

Hey. Show us some pictures mate.
I would not hesitate to polish the plexi at all personally, it will bring out the dial!
I wouldn't polish the case for sure, but the plexi, I don't see why not..

I wonder if the first few who replied meant don't polish the case. Can't see why one wouldn't polish the crystal.

Hi,again thanks for all your help,bad news from my watchmaker seal on case back was not fitted right water must have got in to watch,dial and hands ok,movement bit rusty,screw on bridge snaped off, my watchmaker is retiring second week in march,cannot repair movement, but says you can fix it,does anyone no if this is possible,i got watch 8 years ago put it in my safe and never put on.if not possible to repair movement,would it be possible to fit another ETA movement,great looking watch,thanks for your help mark, will try to post photos when I get watch back thanks
