Thanks so much! I'll treasure it! It almost belongs in our archives!

Or is it magnified somehow? It's supposed to be quite small!

...but I am going to insist they send you the right mug. I noticed Jocke's was misprinted, I'm not too happy.

...of the six I sent out (to good boys and girls for Christmas!) I've seen pictures of three of them and each one is different! It's like they were holding training classes on our mugs.

I can see a VRF mug pageant coming before too long.

I'm slurping my morning coffee from my Mk I (pat.pend.) as I write!

Sadly I didn't think to keep the box and papers...

Obviously the purists will want a 1st series and BIG collectors will want both
so expect to see some high prices at Christies and Antiquorum when these appear.

I heard that 2 of the 1st series have been shrink wrapped and are stored away from light to ensure
future value.

1 seems to have a Cream/brown patina now and is known amongst collectors as the "Hazelnut"

I cant be sure but I believe that some restoration work has taken place to 2 pieces, one being very obvious but 1 was done by a guy in a far away land and although it took 5 months to turn around im told its a perfect job and impossible to tell so beware and inspect any mugs found on the open market very carefully.

Dont worry about fakes, they are so easy to spot as they are not signed RC underneath. A small detail that was missed by the fakeroos.

And finally the rumours persist that there are 2 red mugs out there that were a special delivery to
an Argentinian member. If true then obviously you could retire if you found one of them
