anyone hazard a guess how long this 16600 was laying submerged in a coral reef here in the south pacific before a shell diver found it?

take a look at how the crown eroded and eventually popped itself open...pretty crazy huh?

that's awesome. If possible, could you take pictures of the inside of the watch? Would love to see how well the case held up too. Although not cheap, a very thorough service would bring that watch to 100% condition.

I have a friend who lost his seadweller in the surf off fire island. I think it was a 1665 though. Sad day for him. It was his deceased fathers.

To find it would be a miracle.
