Dear fellow forum members,

I have a simple question for you if you can help:

Does your Sub 5512/5513 from the 60s hands still glow?

I understand that the dial lume plots do, but what about the hands?

Thank you for sharing your wisdom!
Cheers!

I guess diff mixes of tritium ... With early 60's and around 67 I
Like a little glow when well charged. ...But then seen many with perfect matching patina that are totally dead

My 5512 1967 1.8 glows. Both hands and dial. This is quite normal for this serial.

It's one of the flatter lume dials, and I understand this to be normal with those. Jed wrote a great primer on what to expect from different lume from different eras, on another forum I think. Maybe he can post or link it here? I'd nominate it for the classics section.
