Are there white gold engine turned bezels around?

Need help, as I just found a quickset 16014, 5.3mil serie, which dates it back to 1977 (my birth year!). It's got an engined turned bezel and I can't tell if its material is white gold or if it's a later steel replacement.

So, are there white gold engine turned bezels around and based on my dirty shots, can anyone tell if this is indeed white gold or a later steel replacement bezel?

Cheers,
Fernando.

ps.: Isn't a 5.3mil serie one of the earliest quickset you've seen? I've never seen one before with suce an early serial number.
