They bastardised the rarest version of a 19018 and made a very elegant looking watch. It could not have been cheap either with all those baguette stones. The pyramids are still nice and sharp too.

I've not seen another of these -

cool way to start your Tuesday!

How old is it?

In any case it is very well done. Notice the baguettes at the corners have a special cut !!

when Mike is bored with it.

when I use the word bastardisation I am referring to a Rolex bastardisation. An easy watch for them to make from the parts bin: obviously not in the negative sense.

I like these few and far between models where some guy in 'design' one afternoon has an idea, drew a sketch and then said "let's try this"

and then had the freedom to go ahead and make it. The 19018/9 are my favorite sapphire model DD's which in part is why I like this watch so much.

Very few others will ever understand or appreciate stuff like this.

best,

Steve

when referring to customizing on a watch post factory issue.
Enjoy it when you pry it from Mike's hands
