Hi All,

Just thought I'd share some pictures with you folks.

I bought this 6542 a little while ago fitted with an 'aftermarket' bakelite insert. I particularly liked the way the gilt writing had patinated to a dull orange/red.

It's taken me quite a while to find an original bakelite insert that works for me - but here it is.

I hope you approve.

For me the wait has been worthwhile - I really love it.

Nice gmt! Love the orange gilt text.
I have never see a black?Bakelite bezel before, only red/black or red/blue.

Enjoy.
P.S your Milgauss is stunning as well.

Would have doubted that such a thing exists, but if you have a reliable source for it...got for it

I like the patina on the dial and the insert is a good match. Wear in good health.
