Hey guys.
Is this a common type of error found in the 1971-72 OPC set.
At first, I thought it was surface wear but the front of the card has full gloss and no damage.

Are you talking about the incomplete blue circle or the red bleed over the black in the lettering? I will check my cards when I get home to see it I have that card. Not sure if I have it or not. I collect the any hockey cards or memoribilia pre-90 so it may take me a bit to find it LOL. Just one of the little things to bring me and my wife closer together is to rummage through my collection. She just loves the boxes all over......do ya get a bit of sarcasm out of that?

Thanks for the replies.

I was referring to the blue circle. I didn't even notice the bleed.

My wife loves my collecting as well.
I try to keep it all in one room in the dungeon

The other error on the Campbell card is that the interior of the oval should be light blue like the other Black Hawks cards in the set. That fact has bothered me for 40 years now.
