VA: You are considered to be totally and permanently disabled due solely to your service-connected disabilities. Value: no.
Does this mean that I am Totally and permanently disabled.

Army77,

I just looked at my EBENEFITS Letters--Summary of Benefits and I see the information you are talking about.

Algomaspur is correct.  That value there on mine says "Yes" as I am P&T.

I think the confusion is on that Summary of Benefits it has 3 columns---Include?, Information, Value

The Value column confirms what you get, what you are receiving, and your status, your percentage etc.  If your Value on that line reads "No", that means you are not P&T.  Some people use that Summary letter for certain information up to all of it.  You can "uncheck" some/any of the items and print the Summary letter out for specific information say to your Apt complex, or Income Verification where they don't need all the pertinent information.

As stated, you can always call Peggy to confirm information or contact your VSO. Hope this helps.

The statement is actually a question, Value: No (Not P/T)  Value: Yes (Yes P/T). Yes or No indicated if you are or are not P/T. Do you have a commissary letter in your ebenefits letters section? Does your BBE say you are entitled to Chapter 35 benefits, these are signs of being P/T. You can also call VA 800 number to verify. Good Luck

That could be possible.  You can look at the date and percentage of disabilities to see if any of that information has changed on your Summary letter.
That may give you an idea.  But as you indicated the confirmed proof is in the BBE.

edit---PEGGY is the nickname everyone uses for the VA main 800 number  (800)827-1000

I was denied on my IU claim with minimal explanation of why, upon further review it was brought to my attention that the raters did not review my new  material evidence at anytime. They just made an assumption. (I sent them nexus letters from spouse, physician and SSDI award letter stating that I am unemployable due to my service connected disabilities.

You can post on here your reason for denial (word for word) on the IU and others will probably be able to further decipher the info (minus your personal info ).

Also there is a section of the Decision letter that shows all evidence considered.  You can check there to see if the documents you mentioned are noted there.  What was brought to your attention to determine "that the raters did not review my new material evidence at anytime." ???

They didn’t consider or even looked at my evidence.

How would you know?  Was something specifically said in your letter?  Please, just post what was said (as Sgt Papa Smurf asked), so it can be reviewed.  Just saying it wasn't reviewed over and over doesn't help.

Explanation of (IU) claim denial: *2 (same explanation for both initial denials)

- Entitlement to individual unemployability is denied because you have not been found unable to secure or follow a substantially gainful occupation as a result of service connected disabilities.

Evidence considered:

-Rating decision dated July 5, 2017
-VA ankle exam June 28, 2017
-VAMC treatment records June 22, 1999 to October 25, 2017, Gainesville, Florida
- VAMC treatment records February 25, 2016 to April 25, 2016
-VA form 21-8940 September 18, 2017

Not included in evidence considered:

-Physician's Nexus Letter stating unemployability
-Social Security Disability Award Decision stating unemployability
- Spouse Letter
-My personal letter
- Migraine Headaches log

Ask for a reconsideration and upload those five documents with your request.  IMHO the doctor's letter and SSA letter should be all you need, this may have been submitted, but probably never made it to the rater somehow.  There are several previous raters on this board, and they'll tell you this would not be ignored - all info submitted is considered.  Do you have a VSO helping?

Oh, the reason I mention reconsideration is because if they never reviewed the other info you mentioned - then it is considered new and relevant information that was not previously considered.  This is not a NOD, so if this doesn't work out keep an eye on the one year date for the NOD.  I did a reconsideration personally, and to worked well for me.

Yes I have a VSO, and we resubmitted the evidence and filed for a reconsideration. Wish me luck. Do you think that I will have to have another C&P exam

Doubtful, I didn't, as evidence as sufficient to make quick decision.  Good luck!

Don't rely on the C=file, took a long time to get mine, dates would have been long past for NOD, etc.  Just did my statement, etc and waited.  My C-file arrived after everything was completed, more than 2 years after initial request - maybe because I had to get it from Raleigh NC, a claim was on-going, who knows.

I requested my C-file, I also did a reconsideration of my claim. I checked the status and they told me that there is an administration action on my claim, could that be the same as administrative review.
