If you have time, watch the bow door & ramp operate. What's your opinion? :-)

I'm assuming that there is a 'left' port door like this one on the 'right' starboard... It would make it convenient to have two entrances/exits for loading/off loading instead of just one through the bow area. The door opening process seems a little more entailed than on the 325, but I don't know if that's true. Could it be a mechanical space saving requirement? Looking at how the ramp is lowered, it wouldn't seem so. I think there could be a lot more engineering involved in this process than on 'our' LST. It's interesting and thanks for sharing! Gives us another perspective.
