Rose Will Monroe, the WW II war plant worker who inspired the nickname "Rosie the Riveter" will be in Evansville Tuesday, January 10, to celebrate the fifth anniversary of LST 325's return to the United States.

Actually, Rose Will Monroe will be portrayed by Angela Bartley, a talented actress from Louisville, Kentucky, who will come to Evansville to perform her act for the celebration.

The event is free to the public.

This will be a wonderful event.... although some of us can't be there due to work commitments, what a wonderful experience it would be! Experience it for us.... and share, please?

I think I'm getting drafted as MC, so I'm not sure how many photos I'll be taking, but we'll see if we can come up with someone to take a few.
