After watching this video again, I am struck by the bravery, the positive attitude, the giving nature of all of these men and those men and women who helped get LST 325 back to the USA. They overcame what some would have said were insurmountable odds. As a daughter of an LST Sailor, I thank you from the depths of my soul. It has allowed me a deeper appreciation of my Father's wartime service, an instilling of history, wonderful friendships. I will forever thank the Gold Crew for taking me under their wings (they are angels, you know) and being so gracious and loving. You all have my eternal gratitude.

Everyone should go back and revisit this video from time to time. I always love seeing it again as it reminds me of where we came from. It also causes me to take pause and reflect on how far we have come since then.
