Meet Jim Teufel from Cinncinati, Ohio - an electrician who came aboard to help Harry,
Dave and George and he ran into the gang in the Ward Room. Now he is stuck
as you can see; he said it's amazing what gets done and that we could all be arrested for how
much fun everyone has! Jim is great! He came for a day- has been here two - and is now looking at the end of the weekWelcome aboard Jim, and glad you could join us!

I met Jim Monday when he reported for duty.
I immdeiately gave him a paint brush and said welcome to the deck force.
He looked a bit confused and said something about working with Kenny.
I told him Kenny was a deck ape and wanted us to do some painting.
He happily grabbed a paint bucket.
He painted the ward room exterior to make the whole area look nice.
(there was about half of it not finished from a previous paint job)
Now it all looks real nice.
Then someone mentioned Harry and Kenny again. Rut-roh, Those is snipes.
I bet they will try to take my new deck hand away from me.
I told them he was a former Boswain's Mate but when they found out he was an electrician (amoung other special skills) the cat was out of the bag.
The next day my plot was foiled and they assigned him to the snipe gang.
Curses, foiled again.

I will wait by the gangway for the next unsuspecting volunteer with a handful of paint brushes and a needle gun.

bp

Welcome aboard Jim. Job well done.
