Had a great time yesterday at LST-325 Veterans Breakfast event on the tank deck. Got to meet some great veterans and hear some great war stories. We were able to hand out 6 LST ribbon/ metals Thank You For Your Service to 6 WW II attending veterans. At the LST-325 tour mission to Nashville and Clarksville TN, we handed out 35 such ribbon/metals to WW II veterans who took a tour of the LST. Its great to see their face lite up when we give them these ribbon/metals and salute them and thank them for their service. The Greatest Generation, we will not see their lot again. Take care SARGE

And it was good to see you, Sarge! Thank you for all you do! I was in the ward room, with those who could not do ladders. The simple gift of a breakfast is a small way to say thank you, but when it comes to the work feeding them, the Owen and the Galley Crew and the Funeral Home who donated the items to create the breakfast really go all out! The shared stories are the reward.

SEABAT : You are correct when said we owe Owen Chapman and LST galley crew for their service. We owe them many thanks for the Veterans breakfast support. Good many crew members who went on the Nashville/ Clarksville TN cruse mission owe Owen Chapman thanks. For setting up and coordinating the Fort Campbell tour for the LST crew. Some times we forget the hard work done behind the scene by such as Owen Chapman and many others to support the LST-325 mission. We have a great crew, we are a band of brothers. Take care SARGE
