In the 1973 James Bond movie, Live and Let Die, with Roger Moore, there is a boat chase in Louisiana which ends when the bad guy's speed boat runs up the ramp and into the tank deck of an LST and explodes. Any ideas about where that was filmed and what number LST was used?

IMDB.com doesn't give an exact location of the LST's in the movie, but from what I have been able to freeze frame it looks like the "T" is the 721 and a couple of other hulls are in the shot. Michael Smith may be able to enlighten us some day as to the exact location.

I went to that web site and see that they filmed in many locations, including New Orleans and Slidell, LA. However, through the magic of film, the boat running into the LST could have been in any of the other places they listed as locations, including the listing of an all inclusive "USA".
