That sounds like an exceptional venture that would add realism to our imaginations of what it must have been like. I for one don't want to miss the sights, sounds and smells of a beach landing and the disgourging of WWII vehicles, Way Cool. Thanks Tammy!

Wow, it was love at first sight. What is it, how much and where can I get one like it?. I could hang out with The Adams Family and Friends. Can you image me parading down the street, streaming water out the guns, (You heard it here first Boys & Girls) I bet we could get 50 clowns in there. What a sight! Gotta get one!

That looks like a German MG 30 machine gun in the clown car.

You'll have to requisition 7.92 mm water ammo to fire from it. I was wondering if you could shoot 7.92 mm silly string also? It also looks like you could mount about a half a dozen confetti mortars on it. Do you think you could fit 51 clowns in it? I would like to come along to! Don't forget to sign up to load it onto the LST325 in August!

You can see the Ultimate Clown Car at http://www.areyouoneoftheseen.com/index/?p=122

Bob that is a BREN gun being it is a RAF vehicle. Joey the vehicle looks like a short wheel base Land Rover with armor. Maybe Chappie can help us on this.

At close inspection it still looks like a MG30. The RAF probably took it from a German clown prisoner. Maybe Chappie can verify how many German clowns were captured in the car! The camoflage paint job looks like a German circus pattern. I think the RAF must have captured it and put their insignia on it.

tells me that the MG 30 feeds from the left and is recoil operated. The weapon on the A/C has a GAS tube and feeds from the top.

My source is the 2 pictures in the previous posts. If you compare the machine gun in the car (visually) with the picture of a MG30 (visually) that I retrieved from the internet. you will see that they look identical.
